Answer:
Yes. I am prepared to speak at churches and conferences, but I also enjoy speaking to to smaller groups. If the Lord opens the door to send me, I will go. My testimony was developed through training by Stonecroft Ministries, but more often than not I share a specific message for a specific place. I have learned that only God knows what they need to hear.

Judy, can you tell me more about the ministry the Lord has given you to do?
Answer:
Good question. Put one foot in front of the other and follow Him!
First the Lord has made it clear that I am to share my testimony of how His love broke through my grief, rejection and loneness and how He will do that for anyone who calls on Him to do so. I teach on how to be restored to God and to man, and what great value people have to the Father. In short God has given me a mandate to teach about His love and how He desires to draw all people to Himself.
Second I am to release the prophetic word, which is the testimony of Jesus. (See Rev. 19:10) This will also release people and unlock those things that have been locked away inside their hearts. God will indeed give us the ability to do all things through Jesus who gives us strength. Sometimes we need someone to come and see something we have hidden in our hearts so that we can be given a green light to go in the call God gave them. Some people wait for years before doing what the Holy Spirit has spoken to them because they are not sure if they are imagining it or if God really has called them. The prophetic word has a way of opening up understanding and giving a person confidence like nothing else can. So I do try to be sensitive to what the Lord is saying for individuals. Even the most seasoned person in the Lord loves to receive confirmation when it comes from the heart of God.
Third I am to demonstrate that love by fulfilling the mandate in Matthew 25:40. Whatever we do to others, we do it to Jesus. We cannot teach the love of the Father without demonstrating it. This is where the call to raise monies for orphans has come in and this is what I believe God the Father has beckoned me not to neglect. For me to see firsthand such a great need and then turn a blind eye is outside of the Father's love. We cannot teach what we fail to practice. I cannot teach on God's love without showing it.

Where are you called?
Answer:
Prior to the Lord calling me to Uganda in October of 2006, He said He would be sending me to "the Orient". I googled this phrase and found the orient is a huge part of the world including the Middle East, India, Asia Minor and Asia. Interestingly, it did not include Uganda! However He has given me His purpose for sending me there first. If you are really curious as to what He said to me, feel free to write and I will tell you.
I also have a deep longing to minister the love of the Father here in the United States. Many have failed to see that the comforts of our society do not fill that hole in our soul. We need to allow God to heal our souls so that we can function the way He designed us. So many are walking wounded. We have a huge number of children growing up without fathers and they will have a very difficult time receiving God's love when they do not know what it looks like here on earth. Just ask all the adults that struggle with it! It is my desire to exhort the Church that as they allow God to heal this area of their life, they are to reach out to their communities and let God's love touch those around them.

Judy, how do you get these 'Jewels'?
Answer:
Exhortations or Words from the Lord:
The Lord has also entrusted me with exhortations. These often are given by what I lovingly refer to as a 'download from heaven'. Many times it is like taking dictation. I try to always have a notebook handy. Recently I have been asking the Lord specific questions during my quiet time with Him about something I have observed going on in the church or in the world. He is gracious enough to give specific words to share with the church.
Earlier in my walk He would impart understanding to me about a subject or sometimes even a biblical character. Though the impartation time would usually be brief, the writing and explanation of said impartation took and takes careful consideration and time to convey. Sometimes the impartations have a great deal of time to be developed through study and prayer prior to the Lord giving me the prophetic word to send out.
Often the Lord gives me personal words for people. This is not just in a church setting but often in a café or a store. This can be somewhat frightening, but I have come to realize that I am just a messenger - like a mail carrier. It really is about building up a person's faith in Christ - and perhaps my own. I have had some strange reactions, but whenever I have obeyed God the person has been greatly blessed, encouraged and uplifted. Some have been healed of infirmities.
Often when I pray for someone in this way the Lord may show me a picture or give me a word. I have learned to only share what the Lord has given me and not try to interpret it unless the Lord gives me the interpretation. Usually the person needing the prayer knows what the symbol means and the Lord uses it to bring them deliverance or healing. This is not me; this is God the Father demonstrating His love for us.
I believe that the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus (See Revelations 19:10b) and that it is to encourage, comfort, and edify the Body of Christ (See 1 Corinthians 14:3) So really, everyone who knows Jesus as Lord and Savor can prophesy.
Question:
How do you pray?
Answer:
The Holy Spirit gave me a language when I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I call it praying in the Spirit, some call it tongues. Prior to my salvation, I had never spoken in or heard of tongues. I had heard Acts 2:4 read in church as a child, but nothing was taught to us how it manifests in the Church today. At the time I confessed my belief in Jesus and acknowledged that He was the Son of God, I was given this gift. At first it sounded foolish to me, but then it developed - just like a natural language does. This language has carried me through very dry times. The Word of God states in 1 Corinthians 14:2 that when I speak this language I am not speaking to men but to God. It also teaches that I am uttering mysteries in my spirit. I think God does this through us so that when we pray we are praying what He wants us to; our minds won't doubt. Later on the Lord added the gift of interpretation. It started one day at a little church we went to in FL when I heard a woman singing in her prayer language and I understood exactly what she was saying! Since that time I have learned to trust what I am hearing is the Lord's voice. Jesus said, "My sheep know My voice." I am so very thankful to be one of His sheep!
Praise and Worship:
When I first came to the Lord, I complained to Him that I had a hard time memorizing things and I was having difficulty learning Scripture. I knew needed to hide the word in my heart, so that I wouldn't be separated from Him. I was very upset that I could not retain the Scripture verses. He simply answered me, "Sing them." I had been trying to memorize Isaiah 41:10, and all of a sudden when I looked at the Scripture I heard a melody. I knew this was His voice as the song "So Do Not Fear" was birthed in that moment. (See Jewels from Judy: Songs) He taught me that I could learn Scripture this way and I have. Now when I read a Scripture and hear a melody I write them down and sing them! I have not had much opportunity to share these with the Body of Christ and am looking for young adults that will take these and make an impact. These songs have also come from a place of intimacy and safety found in Christ Jesus.
Dreams:
I have always been a vivid dreamer, but when I surrendered myself to Jesus He showed me that He had been speaking to me since I was a child. My first memorable dream was given at the age of four and I remember it like I had it last night. In 1997 I began keeping a dream journal. Honestly, most of them were personal and I had no idea what they meant. I really had to pray through the ones that I knew were from the Lord. The ones for the Body of Christ were the ones He targeted for interpretation. The Lord would not allow me (for lack of a better description) to go to others who had books and information on how to interpret. He led me to the Scripture in Genesis 40:8 where Joseph says that interpretation belongs to God. So it was to Him alone I was to look. He showed me and revealing their meaning to me.
Jewels started when I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do with what He had shown me. He led me to www.etpv.org in 2004 and each week I would ask the Lord what He wanted me to send in. I had been writing since 1997 so I had some things already to be sent, however, sometimes it would take weeks to work through a dream the Lord had given me. Systematically we worked through both dreams and visions. Then in 2005 He started giving me prophetic words - slowly at first but then I seemed to have tapped into a well of His presence. This really moved rapidly beginning in May of 2006 starting with the word "Master Surgeon." The Lord had taken me through a very intense time of healing and I asked Him to give me something to give the church. In a way it was like when Jacob had been wrestling with the angel and would not release him until he blessed him. I did not want to go through what the struggle without there being a blessing. I knew I was not the only one who had these types of wounds needing to be healed. I had no problem loving Jesus, nor did I struggle with the guidance and teaching of the Holy Spirit, but I did have a major problem trusting God as Father. I had a difficult time trusting Him not to further wound or abandon me. Interestingly, through this internal healing The Father's Love Int'l Ministries was birthed!
