“As water in My hand flows where I desire, so too will I turn the hearts of leaders. Judgment begins in My house and to those called by My name. Justice will flow in the house of the LORD like a river of oil. It will ignite a fire of passion for those pursuing Me, but a fire of destruction to those who are doing things their own way. Those who are tuned in to My voice, like Eli, but whose sons were disobedient and unruly, will be required to trust in My plans when I show them how they need to rebuke their rebellious children. They must trust My ways over their own love for their children. These rebellious sons are under a curse because their fathers are like Eli refusing to bring correction where correction is due. Their sons defile My temple, yet nothing is said. The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. When offerings given for My purpose are used for their gain, judgment is at the door. My “Eli” (minister/priest in My house) turns a blind eye and now the curse has fallen upon the grandchildren who are unruly and undisciplined. The door to wickedness has been opened to them and no longer is there a hedge of protection around the children which was once My pleasure to give.
“One of the most dangerous thoughts My “Anointed” can have is for them to think they are in right standing with Me because I continue to bless their ministry. Some examples:
- One who is in sin prays for the sick and the sick recovers, so he thinks he is in good standing with Me. However, this one was healed because of My mercy and love being poured out to the sick, not necessarily because of the anointing on the one who prayed. Mercy moves My heart.
- Another has great teachings and insight, so he thinks that since I gave him this understanding, I am ok with his sin and am willfully turn a blind eye to it; however, My heart is moved by those in the congregation listening. His sin will be – WILL BE – dealt with later, but he thinks because his message was anointed he is in good standing with Me. He is not.
- Yet another has great visions and sees and writes of My revelations, yet fails to understand what I have shown. The vision of the Church is My hope for her. I am moving her in that direction, but you cannot put new wine in old wine skins.
"I want my sons and daughters to see that the churches and the ministries I have entrusted into their care are under their stewardship, not their ownership. Those are My ministries – those are My churches and any who touch them are not to defile them! When they touch My flock, they literally touch Me. I would rather that work which I started be destroyed and brought down in ruins than to share it with sinful rebellious children who will would thoughtlessly wound My flock. Remember I raised up Samuel and brought down Eli and his sons.
“Many examples could be given, but My Spirit will reveal all things and how this may apply to you. As I show you, then understand that repentance (turning from this sin) is required, not requested. I Am quick to forgive and My mercy endures forever.
“There is an end coming to the “Sons of Eli” and that end will not be pretty. If the fathers do not rise up and take a stand, I WILL! I am giving them time to correct the situation and to repent, but the clock is ticking down. The hour is late. I will not allow My glory to be shared with the hard-hearted children of Eli. Repentance must be immediate lest I come and remove the Lampstand in their midst.
“My will shall be carried out. I Am not wringing My hands in the days of your rebellion, but I will not wrestle with flesh forever. Remember, My discipline and correction is given for you to reap the peaceable fruit of righteousness. Allow yourself to receive My rebuke and you will see and be part of the harvest your heart desires. Do not allow these bitter roots to grow in My sanctuary and defile My flock any longer. It is to be rooted out. My word is clear. I also gave Esau as an example of an ungrateful son and his example is to be heeded. Learn from the mistakes of Eli and Esau and do not follow their footsteps no matter the cost. Guard the Lampstand and do not allow My glory to depart.”
