Jewels From Judy

Sunday, June 05 2005

This word was spoken to me during worship on Sunday and is humbly submitted for your consideration. For several months I have been sensing a ?breaking' coming to the Church (universal). Understand this, it is not something that is going to happen somewhere else. This is going to happen in you. This is going to happen in me. The breaking must start in each of us!

"My heart is grieved at the division in My Church."

"Striving [for position], gossip, jealousy, and division plague My Body."

"You cry out to Me to revive the church, but yet I strive and wrestle with you to get you to obey My written Word. Even My Rhema Word is quickly overlooked and forgotten."

"Do you want revival? YOU ARE THE STARTING POINT! Ask for the breaking to start in you. Ask Me to reveal your areas of weakness and sin. Let Me break you! Let Me cause your heart to break."

"It is too easy for you to see this in others and forget it is still in you."

"I Am Holy and I Am not going to strive with you forever. I will not strive with flesh forever. You are My servant and you must not strive."

"Come to Me all of you who are weary with religion and works, who are called by My name. Rend your hearts, repent and turn away from your sin and I will heal you, your church, your land. Thus says the Lord your God."

Because of the widespread misuse of this statement, I hesitated to write, "Thus says the Lord your God." So I stopped and asked the Lord if He really wanted me to end this word in this manner and He said, "Yes, write down, "Thus says the Lord your God." I tell you this because it is not something I take lightly.

Upon reflection of this word I have become acutely aware of the Lord's broken heart over His Body's disunity. We say we want to see people saved, but then we strive with one another. How can this be? Why would anyone want to become a part of Christ's Body, when the Body is at war with itself? We need to stop the internal fighting and come into unity by being obedient to God's Word, His will, and His ways.

Gal 5: 13 For you have been called to live in freedom - not freedom to satisfy your sinful nature, but freedom to serve one another in love. 14 For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." 15 But if instead of showing love among yourselves you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another. 16 So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves.

25 If we are living now by the Holy Spirit, let us follow the Holy Spirit's leading in every part of our lives. 26 Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another.

If you would like to pray, let us now go boldly to the Throne ofGrace. Father God, we come to You in the matchless and mighty name of Your Son, Jesus. Reveal in us where there is both hidden and known offenses. Reveal the thorns in our hearts and remove them. We know that this cannot be done without repentance, so we willingly repent of holding bitterness and resentment towards our brethren. [Speak specifically to the Father about whom and what has offended you, or whom you have offended.] We ask You, Holy Spirit, to remove the infection that these thorns have caused, and for You to apply Your healing Balm of Gilead to these wounds. Break our hearts of stone! Graft the skin of Your heart over our hearts, Lord, so that what is imperative to You will be transplanted into us. May areas of weakness become areas of strength and unity. Let us cast our care upon You, for You care for us. Vengeance is Yours, not ours. Let us be reconciled to You and to one another! Let us cry to You, "Not my will, but Your will be done, Father!" Amen

Psalm 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

In His great love,
Judy
