Grace and peace to you and yours this Passover Season! I greet you in the Father’s love as we celebrate God’s greatest gift to mankind in the life, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus our Messiah! Glory to God! Book Update Please forgive my lack of communication these past few months. When the Lord commissioned me to write the book, “Jewels from the River,” I thought a lot of the material would be from what I had already written. However, as I read through my journals from when these personal encounters with the Lord first began, I came to realize the first ones were very foundational. I believe the book is about a month away from being sent to the publisher. It will be available both in paperback and eBook. If you would like to reserve a paperback copy, please let me know. A Little Leaven This may seem an odd thing to share, especially at Passover,[i] but I keep finding myself drawn to a Scripture in Matthew 13:33. Jesus describes a woman working leaven (yeast) into three lumps of dough. He says that this is likened to the kingdom of heaven. The “leaven of heaven” works to infuse the Father’s love into people’s hearts and this raises our hope and faith. The God of all Hope wants to lighten our load and give the peace that surpasses all understanding. While Jesus warned against the leaven of Herod (worldliness), the Pharisees (hypocrisy), and the Sadducees (error), He does want the leaven of heaven to be worked in us. We must learn to rise above and see from the Father’s perspective – because we can! God even invites us to do this boldly.[ii]It is my hope that this book will help raise people’s faith and lift our hope in God’s unfailing love. Jesus really does want us to personally know Him by His Spirit. The Father’s Love Mission’s Update Several leaders have asked me to come back to Uganda and hold another Pastor’s Conference. A teaching has been brooding in my spirit recently, and it is my desire that the Lord will open the door for me to share it there. I believe if I touch the leaders with a specific message from the Father, then they can in turn touch their congregations, and their flocks will then touch their families and community. This is my hope. Since I have an open invitation to teach through radio there, that will expand the message into regions of Kenya, the Congo, Sudan and Tanzania. While this is a very effective way to minister to the church there, I do not want to go anywhere the Lord is not specifically directing me to go. Please pray and see if the Lord would have you support this trip. It is my prayer that you have a blessed time as you celebrate Passover/Resurrection Sunday. This is a holiday that I believe we will celebrate all throughout eternity! Chag Sameach!
